Description

Indulge in the comforting blend of vanilla, cinnamon, and black tea with this cozy Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea recipe. Perfect for a chilly evening or a relaxing afternoon treat.

Ingredients

Scale

For the tea:

  • 2 black tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose-leaf black tea)
  • 1 ½ cups water

For the milk tea:

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • cinnamon stick (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tea: In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the tea bags and steep for 3–5 minutes. Remove the tea bags.
  2. Make the milk tea: Reduce heat to low. Stir in milk, honey/sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Finish and serve: Remove from heat, strain if using loose-leaf tea. Pour into mugs, garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For an iced version, let the tea cool, then pour over ice.
  • You can also use chai or spiced tea blends for a deeper flavor.
  • Almond, oat, or soy milk are great dairy-free options.
