Ingredients
Scale
Graham Cracker Layer
- 19 oz graham crackers
Pudding Mixture
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 (3.4 oz) packages Vanilla Instant Pudding
- 2-1/2 cups cold milk
Whipped Cream Layer
- 12 oz Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream)
Fruit Layers
- 3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1-1/2 cups fresh blueberries
Topping
- 2 oz white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare the pudding mixture: In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and dry vanilla instant pudding mixes together with an electric mixer until the texture is smooth and blended.
- Add milk: Slowly pour in the 2-1/2 cups of cold milk to the cream cheese and pudding mixture, continuing to beat until fully combined and smooth.
- Incorporate whipped cream: Gently fold in 12 oz of Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream into the pudding mixture, reserving 1/2 cup whipped cream aside for topping later.
- Layer the dessert: Spread a thin layer of the reserved Cool Whip in the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan. Begin creating the dessert by layering graham crackers, then a portion of the pudding mixture, followed by fresh strawberries and blueberries. Repeat these layers alternating until the pan is filled.
- Chill: Cover the assembled dessert and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the graham crackers to soften and the flavors to meld.
- Finish with white chocolate: Before serving, melt the 2 oz of white chocolate chips and drizzle over the top of the chilled dessert to add a sweet decorative touch.
Notes
- For best results, ensure the cream cheese is softened before mixing to avoid lumps.
- You can substitute Cool Whip with homemade whipped cream if preferred for freshness and fewer additives.
- Use fresh, ripe berries for optimal flavor and presentation.
- The dessert is best served chilled and consumed within 2 days.
- Make-ahead friendly: dessert improves in flavor when made the day before serving.
- Keep the dessert refrigerated to maintain texture and freshness.
