- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

Instructions
- Filling Preparation: In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pie Assembly: Roll out pie crusts on a floured surface, cut into rounds. Place cream cheese filling and apple pie filling on each round, fold over, seal edges, and crimp with a fork.
- Frying: Brush pies with egg wash. Fry in oil until golden brown on both sides.
- Serving: Dust with powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, or drizzle with caramel before serving.
Notes
- For a baked version, brush with egg wash and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes.
