- 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas (drained, rinsed, and patted dry)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prep chickpeas: Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the dried chickpeas on the baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 20 minutes to dry them out, shaking the pan halfway through.
- Season chickpeas: Remove from the oven and toss the chickpeas with olive oil and all the spices until evenly coated.
- Roast chickpeas: Return to the oven and roast for another 15–20 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
