- 3½ cups ice

White Layer

- 1½ ounces blanco tequila (1 shot)
- 1 ounce Cointreau
- 2 ounces fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar (or honey)
Blue Layer
- 3½ cups ice
- 1½ ounces blanco tequila (1 shot)
- 1 ounce Cointreau
- 2 ounces blue curaçao
- 1 ounce lime juice
Instructions
- Prepare the red layer: Combine the ice, frozen strawberries, 1½ ounces of blanco tequila, 1 ounce of Cointreau, 2 ounces of grenadine, and 1 ounce of fresh lime juice in a high-powered blender. Blend until smooth and pour evenly into six glasses. Rinse out the blender thoroughly.
- Prepare the white layer: Add the ice, 1½ ounces of blanco tequila, 1 ounce of Cointreau, 2 ounces of fresh lime juice, and 1 tablespoon of agave nectar (or honey) into the blender. Blend until smooth and carefully pour the mixture evenly over the red layer in each glass, creating a distinct new layer. Rinse out the blender again.
- Prepare the blue layer: Blend together the ice, 1½ ounces of blanco tequila, 1 ounce of Cointreau, 2 ounces of blue curaçao, and 1 ounce of lime juice until smooth. Pour evenly atop the white layer in each glass to complete the tri-color effect.
