Scale
Pizza Bites
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Garnish & Serving
- Chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat and prepare dish: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch round baking dish or cake pan to prevent sticking.
- Cut biscuits: Cut each biscuit into quarters to create bite-sized pieces that will easily pull apart after baking.
- Mix ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the biscuit pieces with shredded mozzarella, mini pepperoni slices, grated Parmesan, melted butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Toss gently until all biscuit pieces are evenly coated with cheese and seasonings.
- Transfer to baking dish: Spread the mixture evenly in the greased baking dish, distributing the ingredients uniformly for even baking.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the tops turn golden brown and the center is fully cooked. To prevent over-browning, loosely cover the dish with foil during the last 10 minutes of baking if necessary.
- Cool and garnish: Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired for a fresh touch and color.
- Serve: Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping, making these pizza bites perfect for sharing as an appetizer or snack.
Notes
- You can substitute mini pepperoni slices with chopped full-size pepperoni.
- For added variety, try mixing in cooked sausage or diced bell peppers.
- Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven but leftovers reheat well in the oven or air fryer to restore crispness.
