Description

Mozzarella Pepperoni Croissant Rolls are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack featuring flaky croissant dough filled with melted mozzarella cheese and spicy pepperoni, seasoned with garlic powder and Italian herbs. Perfect for parties, game days, or a quick savory treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Croissant Rolls

  • 1 package (8 rolls) croissants

Filling

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 20 slices pepperoni
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Topping

  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the croissant rolls.
  2. Prepare Croissants. Unroll the croissant dough triangles from the package and place them onto an ungreased baking sheet, keeping the shape intact.
  3. Add Fillings. On each triangle, evenly place shredded mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices, making sure to leave the edges of the dough clear for rolling.
  4. Season and Roll. Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the mozzarella and pepperoni. Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle tightly toward the tip to form the croissant rolls.
  5. Bake. Place the rolls in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until they are golden brown, and the cheese has melted inside.
  6. Cool and Serve. Let the croissant rolls cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving to avoid burns and allow the cheese to set slightly.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, brush the rolls with a little melted butter before baking.
  • You can substitute pepperoni with other deli meats like ham or salami for variation.
  • Serve with marinara sauce for a delicious dipping option.
  • These rolls are best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the oven for a few minutes to revive flakiness.
