Dough:
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit or crescent roll dough
Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 2 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Additional:
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: chopped chives or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, jalapeños, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined.
- Assemble the rolls: Flatten each portion of dough into a circle. Place a tablespoon of filling in the center, fold the dough over the filling, seal the edges, and roll into a ball.
- Bake: Brush the rolls with egg wash, then bake for 13–16 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped chives or parsley if desired.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave some jalapeño seeds in or use pickled jalapeños.
