Description

These Hot Pepper Jelly Meatballs are a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, making them a crowd-pleasing appetizer or main dish. Using a combination of hot pepper jelly, chili sauce, and Worcestershire sauce, these meatballs are easy to prepare on the stovetop or in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen fully cooked meatballs
  • 1 (12 oz) jar hot pepper jelly
  • 1 (12 oz) bottle chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a large saucepan or slow cooker, combine the hot pepper jelly, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Stir over medium heat until the jelly melts and the mixture is smooth.
  2. Add the Meatballs: Add the frozen meatballs and stir to coat evenly. If using a stovetop, cover and simmer on low for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the meatballs are heated through. If using a slow cooker, cook on high for 2–3 hours or low for 4–5 hours.
  3. Serve: Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice for a main dish.

Notes

  • You can use homemade meatballs if preferred—just cook them fully before adding.
  • Adjust the spice level by using mild or extra-hot pepper jelly.
  • These meatballs are great for potlucks or game day!
