  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, olive oil, water, ginger, and garlic. Stir well to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
  2. If you prefer a thicker dressing, whisk in the cornstarch and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool. For a smoother texture, strain the dressing through a fine mesh sieve.
  4. Stir in sesame seeds if using. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate until ready to use. Shake well before serving.

Notes
