Description

Pasta:

  • 12 oz penne or rigatoni pasta

Steak:

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or flank, thinly sliced)

Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Garnish:

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook pasta: Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare steak: Season sliced steak with salt and pepper. Sear in a skillet until just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Make sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, add buffalo sauce, honey, heavy cream, sour cream, paprika, and onion powder. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Combine: Stir in mozzarella and cheddar until smooth. Add pasta and steak, toss to coat.
  6. Bake: Transfer to a baking dish, top with extra cheese if desired. Bake until bubbly and golden.
  7. Serve: Garnish with green onions and parsley before serving.
