Description

Indulge in the rich and flavorful Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken & Rotini in Parmesan Sauce. This dish combines tender chicken bites, al dente rotini pasta, and a velvety Parmesan sauce infused with garlic and herbs.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Pasta:

  • 12 ounces rotini pasta, uncooked
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, and bring to a simmer.
  4. Cook the Pasta: Add the uncooked rotini to the sauce, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
  5. Combine and Serve: Return the chicken to the pan, stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use penne or fusilli instead of rotini.
  • Enhance with spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for added flavor.
  • For a lighter option, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
