Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish to prevent sticking.
- Cook Beef and Onions: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is fully browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat to keep the pie from being greasy. Season the meat mixture with salt and black pepper for flavor.
- Assemble Meat Layer: Spread the cooked beef and onion mixture evenly across the bottom of the prepared pie dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the beef layer for a cheesy finish.
