- 1 ounce lemon juice
- 4 ounces bourbon
Instructions
- Muddle the Fruit and Herbs: Add the peach slices to a bar shaker and smash them well using a muddle tool to release their juices. Then, add the basil leaves and gently muddle to extract their flavors without tearing the leaves too much.
- Add Liquids and Shake: Pour in the brown sugar simple syrup, lemon juice, and bourbon into the shaker. Add a handful of ice to chill the mixture. Cover and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker feels cold, indicating the drink is well chilled.
- Strain and Serve: Fill two glasses with ice. Strain the mixture evenly between the glasses to separate out the muddled solids. Garnish with additional peach slices for a refreshing presentation.
