- 1/3 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
- 1 cup fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, etc.)
- 2 teaspoons honey
Instructions
- Toast the bread: Toast the 2 pieces of bread until golden and crisp according to your preference, either in a toaster or on a skillet for about 3 minutes.
- Spread the ricotta and add berries: Evenly spread half of the 1/3 cup ricotta cheese on each piece of toast. Then, evenly distribute 1/2 cup of the fresh berries on top of the ricotta layer on each toast.
- Drizzle honey and serve: Drizzle 1 teaspoon of honey on top of each piece of berry-topped toast. Serve immediately to enjoy the contrast of warm toast and fresh berries.
