Description

This Baked Garlic Bread Dip is a warm, gooey blend of cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, and flavorful garlic, baked to bubbly perfection. Perfect as a party appetizer, it pairs wonderfully with toasted baguette slices, breadsticks, or crackers for a deliciously cheesy and garlicky treat everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale

Dip Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

For Serving

  • Toasted baguette slices, breadsticks, or crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet to prevent sticking and ensure easy serving.
  2. Prepare the Dip Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stir in the shredded mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes if using, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well to evenly distribute all ingredients.
  3. Transfer and Bake: Spread the prepared cheese mixture evenly into the greased baking dish. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and has developed a beautiful golden top.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Remove the dip from the oven and, if desired, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness. Serve the warm dip immediately with toasted baguette slices, garlic bread, or crackers for dipping.

Notes

  • This dip can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated before baking to save time.
  • Add chopped cooked bacon or spinach to the mixture prior to baking for delicious variations.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat gently in the oven or microwave before serving.
